Oppressive Boss

Proverbs 28:3 A ruler who oppresses the poor is like a driving rain that leaves no crops.

K and A, when the day comes that you are the boss, remember this verse. Peter says that pastors are not to lord their power over the flock (1 Peter 5:3). Jesus says that's what the gentile rulers, do but you are to be servant leaders (Matt. 20:25). Daughters, you may think being a "boss" is far stretched, but already you lead children in God's word. You will need to be firm, but do so without being oppressive.
