Genesis 22:12a "Do not lay a hand on the boy," he said. "Do not do anything to him."
As Abraham reached for his knife to slay his son, God intervened.
Would God really have let Abraham sacrifice his son? Of course not! Remember, God was testing Abraham. He loved Isaac too. God would not do such an evil thing.
K and A, never think ill of God. He is not some cruel taskmaster. He loves and cares about all people, for you as well as the most vile person. Even the work that he has for you is easier than a path of pleasure you may choose (Matthew 11:30). Never fear the path God has for you. He will never have you to do something evil for him, but he will test your faithfulness. Work hard, Do well, Excel, in everything he calls you to do.
