Psalm 31:7... I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction...

God has promised to be there for us. He says, " I will never leave you nor forsake you." (He 13:5) He said this in both the old and new testament and we can count on him to be there. We need to rely on good christian friends and counsel, but there will be times when they cannot help and where will we turn? Turn to the Lord for he will be there for us.

There are those who have nowhere to go when they have troubles. They have no God they have no godly friends. Yet, they must go somewhere or they are in torment. These people turn to evil. They seek answers in pleasure to forget their troubles, they turn to drugs, alcohol, sexual distractions and more. Sadly some turn to hurting others and even hurting themselves to the point of suicide.

A and K, rely on each other and good christian friends and family. They can help in times of trouble and heartache. But, there will be times when they just can't seem to understand. Don't abandon their friendship, rather make sure you are turning to God. He is their in both the good times and in the times when all seems lost. He will have the answers if you but seek him with all your heart. (Jr 29:13) Turn to the Lord and his word and find the peace you seek. ~Dad
